Healthy pizza recipe your kids will love!

I had so much fun with my kids preparing this lycopene/indole-3-carbinol/ sulphoraphane/tryptophane/monounsaturated fatty acid rich pizza!
Sounds like a mouthful? Well its actually much easier than what it sounds but it does feel good to know that all these wonderfully healthy ingredients are in this pizza!

Step 1: Use thin pizza bases that you can buy from many convenience stores. Wholegrain is ideal
Step 2:Ingredients include:
Tin of tomato paste,
Mozzarella cheese,
Cauliflower,
Chicken pieces (preferably breast)
Hummus (make your own hummus - see my recipe here www.thesourcesa.co.za/images/userdefined/Articles/Articles/Files/Dr%20Anton%20Hummus%20recipe%202013.pdf)

Technique

Cook cauliflower till soft.
Blend into tomato paste until you cannot see white pieces anymore (yes, I have VERY fussy kids and I hide several ingredients!)
Allow the kids to spread this tomato paste in a THICK layer on the base
Let them add hummus,
Mozzarella can now be added and chicken if they want to.

Much of the magic here lies in that they are making their own food!

10-15 min on medium heat in the oven (150 degrees) and your uber healthy pizzas are ready!

Note to self. Have enough pizza ready. I nearly didn't have any of this because my children devoured it all...
