Cough relieving herbal tea
©Michelle Jv Rensburg

This tea provides great support to the immune system, has direct disease fighting qualities and provides some cough relief as well. As is the case with the anti-infection recipe this is also a very good natural health remedy! The ingredients are easy to find in most convenient stores.

Add the following ingredients to a cup of boiled water:

1 teaspoon common thyme
1 teaspoon whole aniseed
1 teaspoon raw natural honey
1 TABLEspoon lemon juice

Allow to draw for 3 minutes, strain and enjoy. (You don't have to strain the thyme and aniseed. Some people prefer to chew the seeds after drinking the tea.)

You can have this tea up to 5 times a day if you like! If you suffer from chronic illness like HIV/AIDS or any other problem, this tea is a cheap, natural way of boosting your general immunity.

Enjoy!
