In a recent study it was determined that it’s not just eating the right food that keeps your cholesterol low, it’s the right combinations of these cholesterol-lowering foods that are important. Combining foods that are high in plant sterols, foods that are high in fibre, nuts like almonds and soya protein can help you reduce your LDL cholesterol significantly. Once again it is clear that having a diet that contains a variety of healthy foods is a great option. (It also helps not to get bored with your food!)
